Ways to Help Congregation Bet Haverim While You Shop
Scrip programs cost you nothing but a little bit of time, and the benefits go directly to our organization. We hope that you will participate in any or all of the scrip programs in which the Congregation Bet Haverim is enrolled. Please send any questions to cbhscrip@gmail.com. Nugget Scrip Program
Effective December 1, Nugget Market has a new scrip card program. You no longer need to pre-load the card. All you have to do is swipe the card at check out. Cards are now available in the CBH office.
Nugget mailed a new card to current Nugget Scrip card users. If you received a card in the mail, you can now go to the website and register your card at http://www.nuggetmarket.com/. CBH has been registered in the new system. Nugget requests that you use up any remaining balance on your older, pre-loaded scrip card by December 15. A cash refund will be issued on all pre-loaded cards presented on or after December 1.
Nugget sends us a check for 3% of the purchases made with the scrip card.
SaveMart S.H.A.R.E.S. Program
The SaveMart S.H.A.R.E.S. Program is a card that you swipe each time you shop. They are preloaded with our organization’s information. Cards are available in the office or contact the scrip coordinator at cbhscrip@gmail.com.
SaveMart will send us a check for 3% of the purchases made when you swipe your S.H.A.R.E.S card.
eScrip (Safeway)
If you shop at Safeway and have a Club card and are new to the eScrip program, log onto www.escrip.com and follow their directions for registering.
If you have already registered with the eScrip program, you can log onto your eScrip account at www.escrip.com (you will need your password) and direct your earnings to Congregation Bet Haverim (#137107314). If you don’t remember your account number and/or password, call eScrip (1-800-700-5655) and they will help you make the changes. Your eScrip earnings can be divided between three schools or groups.
eScrip requires you to renew each year. Sometime between August and November you need to log onto eScrip to renew your account.
Safeway sends us a check for 1% of the purchases made when you swipe your Club card.
eScrip Online Shopping Mall
Over 700 online merchants will donate 1-10% of your purchases to CBH if you go to www.escrip.com, then click on “At the Online Mall.” Just register your credit card at eScrip.com and the merchant will automatically donate a percent of your purchases to CBH! You can also register your Macy’s and other cards to earn varying percentages through the eScrip program. The more cards that you register, the more opportunities there are for earning money for CBH.
GoodSearch
What if Congregation Bet Haverim earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Well, now we can! GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it’s powered by Yahoo!. If everyone just uses it a few times a day, the $$ will quickly add up.
Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Congregation Bet Haverim as the charity you want to support.

Great Lakes Scrip (GLS)
This program allows you to buy gift cards from hundreds of national merchants, including Amazon, ITunes, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, GameStop and CVS. The cards can be used at the store or online. Go to www.glscrip.com and check out the merchants and the percentages that they give back to CBH. If you would like to order gift cards, send an email to cbhscrip@gmail.com to request an order form. All our purchases need to be prepaid through the synagogue. This program will be expanded at CBH in the next few months.
Great Lakes Scrip sends us a check for between 1% and 20% of the purchases made with the gift cards.
